Free People and Floral Dresses

Today consisted of nothing but work and laying around soaking up the last few days of Christmas break! I've had this dress sitting in my closet for a few weeks now and thought it was about time to bust it out and get a little dressed up. I love how flowy and comfortable it is, while still being able to be dressy or casual. Plus I have a slight bootie obsession, so I had to pair the dress with some!

Love Always,

New Year, New Blog!

1.01.2016

It's a new year, and with that brings lots of new things. I've always had a dream to have a blog, I've followed fashion bloggers for years, even dreamed of having my own.  It wasn't until I started talking about it with some of my roommates that I thought I should take the leap.

I'm excited because this can be my place to share what I love and keep a record of my life, and obviously, what I'm wearing!

The name "clothe with love" came when we were sitting around at the Coop, my house on OSU's campus.  We were sitting in the kitchen and talking about what I wanted my blog to be about.  There is a verse in Colossians 3:14-15 which says:

"Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.  And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.  For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.  And always be thankful."

While I love clothing and fashion as much as the next girl, above everything my value doesn't come from the clothes I wear or the way I look. My value comes from a God who loves me more than anyone else, and because of that I'm thankful and extremely blessed.

So with that, here is what I wore today!!!

Shoutout to the handsome camera man

Sweater: Banana Republic  Jacket: Gap
Jeans: Madewell   Boots: Nordstrom Rack
Purse: Tory Burch  Watch: Michael Kors

Today I went over to Conner's house to watch the OSU vs. Notre Dame Fiesta Bowl game and hang out with the neighborhood gang.  I also tried sauerkraut and jumbalaya, some New Year's day traditions. Surprisingly I loved both. Hope everyone is having a wonderful New Years day with family and friends!!

Love always, Maddie
